Resetting E-mail on your City Cell Phone

(The attached Word document has these same instructions, but with screenshots!)

1)First, you need to remove the existing e-mail setup. (If e-mail isn’t set up at all on your phone, skip to step 6). Open the e-mail app, and tap the three lines/”hamburger” button.image
2)Tap the gear to open settings
3)Tap on your account. It will either show your e-mail address, or “City of Pullman Exchange”image
4)Tap REMOVE.
5)Tap REMOVE again to confirm.
6)Make sure you’re connected to Pullman-Private WiFi. If you are having trouble connecting to WiFi, check the Troubleshooting section at the end. Open the MaaS360 app. If you don’t see it on your home screen, tap on Apps, and you should find it there (you may need to swipe to see more apps).
7)Tap the Settings gear.
8)Tap Corporate Settings.
9)Tap “Configure Exchange Account”.
image10)Make sure your email address & username are correct (they should already be entered correctly) and enter your current password. This is the same password you use to log onto your computer.
image11)Tap the big blue CONFIGURE button
image12)Tap OK, and sit back while it does its thing.
image13)Tap Update to allow e-mail to update security settings.
image14)Tap ACTIVATE.

Your mail should be correctly reconfigured!

TROUBLESHOOTING: Pullman-Private WiFi
1)Open the MaaS360 app . If you don’t see it on your home screen, tap on Apps, and you should find it there (you may need to swipe to see more apps).
2)Tap the Settings gear.

image4)Tap “Reset Corporate Settings”
5)Tap OK
image6)Make sure the box next to Wi-Fi is checked, and tap OK. (If you see “Exchange Account” listed here, and are continuing with reconfiguring your e-mail, you may leave it checked. If your e-mail is working fine and Exchange Account is listed, UNCHECK IT!)
7)Continue with Step 8 in the main directions.
